On Monday (October 22) at 4.30pm Members of Parliament will have the opportunity to take part in a Westminster Hall Debate about E-petition 221033 relating to autism and learning disability training for healthcare professionals, sponsored by Daniel Zeichner MP.

This debate is the result of #Oliverscampaign by Paula McGowan, whose son Oliver tragically died after receiving inadequate care while in hospital due to ignorance of his needs as a person with learning disabilities.
The TSA urges community members to encourage your MPs to make every effort to attend this debate and make a positive contribution to it. We are keen to encourage the Government to invest in autism and learning disability training so that healthcare professionals can provide better care.
