After six years of hard work and dedication, the TSA is to say a heartfelt thank you and goodbye to Kathryn Worden (Fundraising Manager) this month, when she moves on to a role away from our charity.
Kathryn has done an incredible job during her time at the TSA. Many in the TSC community will know Kathryn, having worked closely with her in the important role of Fundraising Manager. In this role, Kathryn provides a vital link in helping us to boost our income and stay connected with our amazing fundraisers and donors.
Our loss is certainly another charity’s clear gain, with Kathryn moving on to an important role in her local community, working for North West Cancer Research.
In Kathryn’s own words: “I have loved working with the amazing fundraisers in the TSC community over the years, as well as with the TSA team.It has been a privilege. I will be sad to leave the TSA, but I am also looking forward to a new challenge.”
Louise Fish (Chief Executive) commented: “Kathryn has been an invaluable member of the TSA team for many years. Her warmness and ‘can-do’ attitude has helped the TSA during her time with us, including the very difficult period around the covid-19 pandemic when fundraising was severely impacted. On behalf of myself, the rest of the team, the Board of Trustees and the wider TSC community, thank you Kathryn for all of your brilliant work.”
Kathryn’s commitment to her role has been outstanding and everyone at the TSA wishes her well for the future. The hard work is already underway by the TSA to find a new member of the team, and we will be taking the time needed to make sure we appoint the right person to raise money for our amazing community.
