We are delighted to inform the TSC community, researchers, charity collaborators and volunteers that we have appointed our second ever CEO. Louise Fish
has a genuine desire to improve services and support for people living with health conditions and their families, and this has been evident throughout
her career. The TSA has found a determined and apt leader in Louise, who has previously worked as Director of Communications at NICE, Director of Communications
and Engagement at the NHS Confederation, and supported the work of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and many other patient organisations.
Louise said:
“The TSA has had some amazing successes in improving research, care and support for individuals living with TSC over the past few years, and I am excited about working with everyone to build on them. I’m looking forward to bringing my passion and experience to the staff team, and working with the TSC community to further improve research, care and support for everyone affected by TSC. My focus is to make sure that everything the TSA does supports the community’s vision of providing hope for today and a cure for tomorrow.”
Martin Short, Chair of the TSA Trustee Board said:
“I am delighted that our search for our second CEO has led us to Louise. She has a wealth of experience that is relevant to leading the TSA and I am confident that she will take us forward with vision and sensitivity. Louise has a passion for communities like ours and I am sure there will be exciting developments ahead when she takes up her new role in June.”
Louise has produced this video for the TSC community so you get the chance to see her in person before meeting her at one of our upcoming events. Watch
