As you may have heard, our
annual TSA Big Day event will be taking place this year at Sheffield Hallam
University on 10 November 2018.

As in previous years, we are
providing childcare for those under the age of 16 attending the event across
morning (9am-12pm) and afternoon (2pm-5pm) sessions.

We will be providing our
experienced, qualified and fun-packed creche again this year. Children with TSC
from ages 0 – 16 years will be given 1-1 support.

Please
note that creche  places cannot be allocated on the day.

All children should be
collected by parents from the creche at the beginning of lunch break and
returned at the end.

We have an animal experience
arranged from 2:30pm-4:00pm! 

Due to the high level of care
we aim to provide for both we must limit places in each group – creche and siblings group – to just 20 children.

 

It’s
essential that you book your creche or sibs group place in advance of the day. To make a booking you will need to complete two steps:

1) Register your child / children on the TSA Big Day 2018 eventbrite page

2) Fill in and return a child care booking form which you need to ask for by emailing bethan.vaughan@tuberous-sclerosis.org

 

STEP 1

Initial registration for
creche is done as part of the Big Day registration via our TSA Big Day 2018 Eventbritepage. Please CLICK HERE for this page.

All children attending the Big
Day need to be registered via Eventbrite*; so we can keep an eye on the number
of people attending. This is mainly for catering purposes, but we will also
need to know information about your child’s dietary requirements and whether or
not you’re happy for your child’s photograph to be taken on the day.


STEP 2

To complete the booking for
creche you will also need to complete a separate booking form. This
form includes questions relating to allergies and dietary requirements, any
diagnosis that staff need to be aware of, what your child likes and dislikes
and any additional information you may wish to share with creche staff, to
ensure the best possible care can be provided on the day.

You will be sent a booking form directly.

Please fill in your child’s
form to the best of your knowledge, with as much detail as possible. This is so
we can ensure your child receives the best possible care on the day!

When you return the form, you
will receive an email confirming your child’s guaranteed place. If you don’t request
a place and return your child’s form, we’re sorry, but we cannot guarantee your
child’s place in creche on the day.

* we charge a deposit of £15 for use of creche. This deposit
is fully refundable providing sufficient notice of cancellation is given. This
deposit does not guarantee your child’s place in creche … so please
make sure you request a form today!
