Below are some of the amazing fundraisers who work tirelessly to support the Tuberous Sclerosis Association.

In memory of Esme James
Luke and Hayley James have been raising funds throughout 2025 in memory of their daughter, Esme who they lost at 35 weeks pregnant. Esme was diagnosed with TSC and had over 30 tumours on her brain.
Luke and Hayley are keen to raise awareness of TSC and funds which will support families living with TSC. They have arranged multiple fundraising events including a football tournament.
So far they have raised over £11,000, show your support for Luke and Hayley by donating to their JustGiving page.
2026 London Marathon Runners
Meet the incredible individuals who are taking on the challenge of one of the world’s most iconic marathons to raise funds for the Tuberous Sclerosis Association (TSA).
Celebrating our 2024 fundraisers
In 2024, we were inspired by an amazing group of individuals and teams who went above and beyond to support the Tuberous Sclerosis Association. From marathons to bake sales, skydives to charity quizzes, these fundraisers demonstrated incredible passion and creativity in raising vital funds for our mission.

Karen & Richard Vennard
Karen & Richard Vennard took on the challenge of running the Cardiff half marathon in October to raise awareness and money for the TSA, as Elsie, their granddaughter has the condition. Not only did they raise an amazing £1,874. Karen also held 2 bake sales and raised an extra £300.

Helen Kemble
Helen’s daughter Sennen has been diagnosed with TSC and she wanted to set herself a challenge to help raise awareness and money for the TSA. In September she ran Dedham 10k and in November she ran Hadleigh 10 mile race. Her other daughter and husband are also helping with her fundraising efforts.

Cheng-Han Wu
Cheng-Han is taking on the Singapore Marathon 42.195KM in December for his son Joshua who has been diagnosed with TSC. Cheng-Han who has been training hard is looking forward to taking on the challenge this weekend and raising awareness for TSC and the TSA.

Lou Caterall
Lou Caterall hosted the Never Give Up charity day at the Dolman Theatre in Newport to raise funds and awareness for the TSA. Lou held the event as her friend Holly is running the Cardiff half marathon later on this year and she wanted to support her friend and give her fundraising total a boost.

Liam Salvidge and Liam Kettle
Liam Salvidge and Liam Kettle took on the incredible challenge of a skydive. They plucked up the courage to jump for Liam Kettle’s daughter Darcie who has TS. Darcie also attend to support and watch her dad and her uncle as they soared the skies to raise awareness and much needed funds for the TSA.

Charles & Jackie Newlands
Charles & Jacqui took on the huge bucket list challenge of walking 110k of the Camino de Santiago walk. Jacqui said it was “such an amazing experience for them both & everyone was so friendly along the route.” Their reason for walking and raising much needed funds for the TSA is their beautiful nephew Noah who they said is a fun loving 2-year-old.

Team TSA 2024
Our London Marathon Team TSA runners Barry, Daniel, Dwain, Isabella, Jamie, Martin, Megan, Robert and Stephen smashed their targets and supported each other as they passed through the finish line. Their dedication and passion was inspirational, the TSA staff team watched the race live, cheering them along and sending over messages of support.

Katie Morris-Taylor
Katie ran the Birmingham Half Marathon in an incredible time of 3 hours and 25 minutes. Katie powered through to the finish line despite suffering an injury running up to the event. She is now taking a well earned rest but hasn’t hung up her running shoes yet! She has said she will be back again to take on the Birmingham Half Marathon for the TSA next year.

Jo Woolley
Jo Woolley held a luxury ladies day event at Wellington Cricket Club to raise awareness of TSC. She wanted to support the TSA as her friend’s daughter has TSC. The glorious summer sun also turned up to the event where guests enjoyed a three course meal, live music and a raffle. The event was a huge success and Jo’s efforts were kindly matched funded by her employer Phoenix Group.

Linda Smith
Linda has dedicated herself to raising funds for the TSA by organising quiz nights, bingos and raffles at her local pub and community centre for many years. She is a fantastic fundraiser and supporter raising awareness of the TSA and her funds from the bingo will often be accompanied by other donations from her friends.

Holy Bleach
Holly took on the Brighton Half Marathon for her younger cousin Stevie who has been diagnosed with TSC. The TSA is a charity close to Holly and her families hearts and she was keen to raise funds and awareness by taking on this challenge. Despite tackling strong winds Holly enjoyed the marathon experience and crossed the finish line with no injuries.

Tom Moult
Tom stepped into the boxing ring in memory of his friend Simon Johnson who sadly, took his own life. Simon’s sister has a granddaughter who had been diagnosed with TSC, Tom knew that Simon would definitely want him try and help his beloved family. The white collar boxing match was something out of Tom’s comfort zone, but he was ready to put up a fight for the TSA.

Make a one off or regular donation
£10 Can allow us to send a welcome pack to a family who has just received a life-changing TSC diagnosis, ensuring that they do not go through this time alone.
£25 Can help us develop materials that are included in our support services, flagship events or campaigns.
£50 Can provide laboratory equipment for a day’s research into the causes, symptoms, management or treatment of TSC.
