Nigel has been relentless in his pursuit of spreading awareness and fundraising for the TSA in his professional darts career. He is always keen to promote what we do and has been a huge supporter of everything we do.

What fundraising have you been up to and what has the response been?

I have supported the TSA with my Darts Fundraising nights for a number of years, and am always promoting awareness at all the events I attend, and I always wear the TSA logo, and we recently raised over £600 at our last event.

What motivates you to do all of this?

Mel (daughter) has TSC and we want to do all we can to help with research, support, campaigning, awareness ,and help children and adults cope and maybe one day beat this condition .we can’t help Mel sadly but for sure we can improve lives of many children out there:)

Any advice for people who want to support the TSA but don’t know how to get started?

You can always ask for a collection tin? And do contact the TSA fundraising team, they can give you lots of ideas. I find people love to wear a badge or wristband and help in this small way but in our eyes its BIG :)

£10 Can allow us to send a welcome pack to a family who has just received a life-changing TSC diagnosis, ensuring that they do not go through this time alone.

£25 Can help us develop materials that are included in our support services, flagship events or campaigns.

£50 Can provide laboratory equipment for a day’s research into the causes, symptoms, management or treatment of TSC.
