Festive fundraising and giving

You can do something amazing by supporting people affected by TSC during the festive season.

There’s lots of different ways for you to spread festive cheer across the TSC community, with some of the easiest and most popular ways outlined here!

Make a festive donation to the TSA

Every donation to the TSA is vital to our work in improving lives in the TSC community.

Without donations, the TSA would simply not be here. By giving to us over the festive period, you can help to ensure that we can continue our work over winter and also year-round.

Festive TSA cards, e-cards and other goodies

We’ve got a lovely selection of our ever-popular festive cards, with Christmas-specific cards, traditional designs and more modern ones to suit all tastes!

No matter what you’re celebrating, there’s a TSA card to mark the occasion. See our full range of festive and Christmas cards here, and our other cards here.

All profits from the TSA’s festive cards and goodies are used to improve the lives of people affected by TSC. Be sure to order before 20 December to guarantee a Christmas delivery!

Paper order forms for this year’s selection can be requested by emailing fundraising@tuberous-sclerosis.org and letting us know your postal address.

Giving as part of your gifting

You could ask loved ones to donate to the TSA in lieu of a festive card or gift to you. This kind choice of gift means that we receive funds to go towards improving the lives of people affected by TSC.

You could even set up an online donation page or ask for donations through a Facebook Fundraiser. These are quick and hugely impactful ways to fundraise for the TSA.

Sorting your festive shopping? Signing up to Easy Fundraising and Give As You Live is quick and easy and means that we get extra donations but at no extra cost to you! They’ve got all your favourite brands – you can even raise funds on your weekly food shop!

Corporate donations

You could ask your workplace if they’re involved in any festive corporate donations – perhaps instead of sharing corporate festive cards, or as a one-off gift to the TSA?

Secret Santa giving

Secret Santa could be a force for good this year! You could ask the group to donate to the TSA instead of a gift to you, or a small amount of the spend limit for gifts could be given to the TSA.

Charity of the year nomination

Speak to your workplace about nominating the TSA as your charity of the year – a brilliant way to continually give to the TSA across 12 months!

Other festive fundraising ideas!

Here are a few more ideas for your festive fundraising – and we’d love to hear from you with your own ideas too!

You could:

  • Host a ‘Mince pie and Mulled wine get together’ with friends, colleagues or a community group
  • Organise a chilly Christmas Day dip in the sea – brrr!
  • Hold a carol singing event
  • Have a glammed-up festive formal at your work
  • Hold a festive bake off at your workplace or with family and friends
  • Have a dress down day on the last day of school or work for a donation, perhaps even wear your festive jumpers!
  • Offer a ‘gift wrapping service’ to loved ones, in exchange for a small donation to the TSA
  • Have a Christmas quiz night with loved ones, asking for a small donation fee to enter!

If you’re doing any fundraising this festive season, be sure to let us know so that we can help you at every step of the way! Fundraising@tuberous-sclerosis.org / 0300 222 5737
