Do you live in Wales and are affected by Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC)? The Welsh Info Day is for you!

The Welsh Info Day is an opportunity for Wales-based members of the TSC community – including people living with the condition, their family and carers – to make new friends and catch up with familiar faces, whilst taking part in a range of informative presentations and interactive sessions focused on key topics around TSC and living in Wales.

Despite the coronavirus outbreak, we were determined to make sure that the TSC community in Wales could come together. That’s why this year’s Welsh Info Day was virtual! You can watch the recorded event in full below.

Further information about the next Welsh Info Day will be provided at a later date.

Previous speakers at the Welsh Info Day have included:

  • Wales Gene Park
  • Mencap Cymru
  • Genetic Alliance UK
  • Cardiff NHS TSC clinic

Help us organise the Welsh Info Day!

We are always looking for ideas and advice from the TSC community on how to shape all of our events, including the Welsh Info Day. If you have any suggestions, be sure to let us know by contacting comms@tuberous-sclerosis.org.

What happens at the Welsh Info Day?

At the Welsh Info Day you can expect to:

  • Have the opportunity to meet and get to know your fellow TSC community in Wales, including individuals living with the condition and their families and loved ones
  • Take parts on talks and workshops all focused on TSC and living in Wales
  • Talk with the Tuberous Sclerosis Association (TSA) about what we have been up to and our upcoming plans
  • Hear from external Wales-organisations about a range of different topics all focused around TSC
