Child services involves familiar and highly structured care. The move from this to adult services, which are more self-directed and independent, can be daunting. It’s useful to be equipped with the knowledge to get through the transition to adult services
The move from child to adult services is different for all individuals and families. However, one thing that connects it all is the disruption that it can cause. Whether it’s social care, education, health or any other area, it’s important to be aware of the steps that you’re likely to encounter.
Join this event as the TSA’s Amy Duncan talks us through transition to adult services and what this might mean for you and your family. Although this topic can be very particular, we’ll try and give a broad overview, to help you and your family feel more confident. There’ll also be time for questions and answers to Amy and the TSA team.
If you benefit from this or other TSA events, please make a recurring or one-off donation if you can so that we can continue all of our work.
