As we march on in to 2014, at Fundraising HQ we thought you might like to hear how all of our Christmas initiatives went. And, it appears you have all been very generous indeed.
This year we sold 613 packs of Christmas Cards, which made the TSA £3202.
We also launched our TSA gifts, our e-card and you wonderful lot attached donations to your purchases, these activates made another £1387 for the TSA.
As a small charity with huge ambitions for our families in 2014, this will make a substantial difference. THANK YOU for being so giving.
So, what’s new for 2014 and how can you get involved in fundraising?
We now have guaranteed places on the Great North Run 2014 (7th September), and on Ride London-Surrey 2014 (10th August). Both of these televised events are huge in the charity calendar and attract large crowds, celebrity participants and promise to be once-in-a-lifetime experiences for those involved.
Tea & Scones for TSC (12th-18th May) will be running for the second year as a national campaign and our opportunity to shout about TSC, the work of the charity and raise valuable funds. Like last year, this will also encompass TSC International Global Awareness Day (15th May).
We still have some 2013 Christmas cards that are available to sell throughout the year at car boot sales, fairs and community events. Want to become a fundraising volunteer?
This year we’re going to keep you informed of loads of events coming up in your area that you can take part in to raise money for the TSA. And, remember you have a dedicated staff member to help you with event planning, charity law, fundraising ideas or to supply fundraising equipment. We’re here to help in any way that we can.
If you want to get involved, or have any ideas that you think could help us raise funds then please get in touch.
Remember to follow us on Twitter (@UKTSA) and Facebook for the latest TSA updates too.
