DESCRIPTION:Saturday 26 April 2025\, 10am – 5pm\nTrades Hall of Glasgow\n*** Outlook 2025 is now fully booked! Thank you to everyone who registered\, we look forward to seeing you in Glasgow ***\nOutlook is the TSA’s group for adults who are mildly affected by TSC! Come along to make new friends\, share experiences about TSC\, and attend interesting workshops and talks.\nOutlook 2025 takes place on Saturday 26 April at Trades Hall of Glasgow\, 10am – 5pm. \nAll adults mildly affected by TSC in the UK will receive a warm welcome at Outlook\, whether it’s your first time at Outlook or you come every year. If you’re coming to Outlook for the first time\, let us know and we’ll put you in touch with others who have been in the past so you can feel more comfortable. \nWe know that seeing all of the talks might feel daunting\, but don’t worry! Everyone who attends Outlook can go at their own pace and get as involved as they want. If you’d rather take a step back\, that is no problem at all. \nOutlook 2025 is now fully booked\, with all places taken. If any places become available\, we will re-opoen the booking form. The next Outlook is taking place on Saturday 26 April 2025 at the Trades Hall of Glasgow (85 Glassford Street\, Glasgow\, G1 1UH) \nOffering a relaxed\, open and understanding environment of the impact that living with TSC can have on individuals and families\, Outlook is one of the longest-running events hosted by the TSC. \nAt Outlook\, you can be in an environment of over-18s who understand the impact that being mildly affected by Outlook can have on daily life. That’s absolutely fine. At Outlook\, you go at your own pace. \nThere’ll also be the chance to meet the TSA team and talk to us about all of our work! \nWhen and where will Outlook 2025 take place?\nOutlook 2025 will take place on Saturday 26 April 2025 in Glasgow\, at the conference venue Trades Hall of Glasgow. \nTrades Hall of Glasgow is well located\, in the centre of Glasgow and well connected to mainline train stations and parking. \nDoes the TSA organise accommodation?\nThe TSA does not organise accommodation for Outlook. However\, there are many hotels to suit all budgets close to the Outlook 2025 venue (Trades Hall of Glasgow). A small list of these is as follows: \n\nMercure Glasgow City Hotel (2 minutes walk)\nibis Styles Glasgow Centre George Square (3 minutes walk)\nTravelodge Glasgow Queen Street (5 minutes walk)\nPremier Inn Glasgow City Centre (6 minutes walk)\n\nPlease note: The TSA does not hold any endorsements or agreements with any accommodation or hotel. \nDoes the TSA offer care support at Outlook?\nThe TSA does not offer care support at Outlook. If you require a carer at Outlook\, we kindly ask that your carer comes with you. \nWhat sort of people go to Outlook?\nOutlook is for adults (aged 18+) who are mildly affected by TSC\, but others are welcome too. This includes parents of children with TSC and carers. \nIf you’re coming to Outlook for the first time\, let us know and we’ll put you in touch with others who have been in the past so you can feel more comfortable. \nOutlook is a friendly and understanding space. You’ll be given a very warm welcome\, from people who understand the impact that TSC can have on individuals and families. Whether you come to Outlook every year or if this is your first time\, we’ll be delighted to have you there! \nI want to help with Outlook\nWe’re always looking for ideas and advice from the TSC community on how to shape all of our events\, including Outlook! A selection of these can be found here (please note that the TSA is not responsible for any information held on Parkopedia. \nFor more information on parking please contact Trades Hall of Glasgow. \nI can't afford to go to Outlook\nTSA Support Fund might be able to help. Open to anyone who lives with TSC and receives benefits\, the TSA Support Fund offers small grants to people when the financial impact of TSC becomes too much – including with grants towards paying for attending Outlook. \nThe TSA wants all adults mildly affected by TSC to attend Outlook if they’d like to\, which is one of the reasons why Outlook tickets are free. Although the TSA always tries to keep the financial impact of Outlook as low as possible\, the costs associated with Outlook – including travel\, accommodation and food – can quickly add up. \nIs there anything planned for the evening before Outlook 2025?\nOutlook officially begins on Saturday 26 April 2025 at Trades Hall of Glasgow. However\, an unofficial evening meal organised by Outlookers themselves will take place on the Friday evening at a local restaurant. If you’re interested in joining this unofficial meal\, please email us (support@tuberous-sclerosis.org) and we’ll connect you with the meal organisers. \nPlease note: No TSA staff members will be on-hand before or after Outlook. The TSA holds no liability for unofficial meet-ups\, organised meals or connections made as a result of the Outlook event or at any time during the weekend. \nOutlook 2025 is now fully booked!
