DESCRIPTION:Sunday 11 May 2025\, 11am – 1pm\nDolman Theatre\, Newport\nBook your tickets for the TSA Together event in NewportTSA Get Together Newport is the first of many local TSA events all happening in Wales. Come along to grab a tea or coffee and meet with others in the TSC community\nTSA Get Together Newport takes place Sunday 11 May at the Dolman Theatre\, Newport\, 11am – 1pm. If you’re looking for a laid back and easy opportunity to meet other individuals and families with TSC\, this is it. Have a tea or coffee\, a plate of food and chat with others about all-things TSC. We’re delighted to welcome the All-Wales TSC Clinic to the event – be sure to say ‘Hello!’ Book your place here. \nThese events are part of a long-running pilot. If they go well\, we hope to expand them to other parts of the UK. \nIt’s completely free to attend. Worried about the travel costs? You might be eligible for a TSA travel bursary\, contact our support team. \nThank you to the Dolman Theatre for kindly offering us this fantastic meeting space. \nWhat is TSA Get Together?\nWe’re running a series of new events under the banner ‘TSA Get Together’. These events are focused on getting people in the nearby TSC community together. We’re starting them as a pilot in Wales and hope to organise them in other places if they go well. \nTSA Get Together events include things like coffee catchups or visits to family-friendly attractions. At Newport\, we’re welcoming people to come along to meet others in the TSC community in a very relaxed atmosphere. \nWhen and where will TSA Get Together Newport take place\nIt’s happening on Sunday 11 May 2025 at the Dolman Theatre. Doors open at 11:00am and things will close at around 1pm\, but feel free to come at any time. \nThe Dolman Theatre is near the centre of Newport\, with local parking available (check before travelling). \nIs there an agenda?\nThe focus is on making the event free and easy\, and more of an opportunity for people to pop around and get to know others. \nDoes the TSA offer care support at this event?\nThe TSA does not offer care support or a creche for this event. If you require a carer\, we kindly ask that your carer comes with you. \nWho is this event for?\nTSA Get Together Newport is for everyone in the TSC community. In particular\, we’d love to see families and individuals getting to know each other\, comfortable in the knowledge that everyone in the room understands the impact of TSC. \nI want to help with TSA Get Together events\nFantastic! We have this event\, plus more planned around Wales later in the year and hopefully more across the UK after this. \nWe’re always looking for volunteers\, so get in touch by contacting support@tuberous-sclerosis.org. \nDo you offer travel support?\nFinancial problems should never be a barrier to people attending TSA events.
